ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. This position will work with other engineering staff working on projects to meet various heavy/civil construction needs. This position also requires the successful candidate to evaluate, inspect, design, estimate, and provide project management of heavy/civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
• Inspection of quality of work performed during the daily activities of the overall construction on heavy civil projects. Included but not limited to; roads, environmental, excavations, concrete and rebar.
• Demonstrate good organizational, planning and time management skills
• Help detects deficiencies and addressed deficiencies in a timely and effective manner
• Work with the field engineering staff acting as their field representative ensuring construction complies with the QA/QC requirements.
• Interface with field foreman and superintendents to maintain an open line of communication and reporting monitor job progress
• Develops, implements and administers project engineering procedures and other work documents; tracks and logs documentation
• Assist with managing project document control
• Assist with managing procurement of materials and consumables, including vendor pre-qualifications and development of RFQ’s
• Interact cross-functionally with Field Engineers and other team members.
• Assist in other duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 1 - 3 years of related experience
• Excellent computer skillsMicrosoft products required

CAD experience, especially AutoCAD, preferred
Document control management software such as Procore or Fieldwire preferred

• Valid Drivers License
