Position Overview:

The Front Office Associate joyfully welcomes, schedules, answers phones, and organizes all that's needed to help a family receive a happy and helpful pediatric therapy experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer the central telephone system and directs calls accordingly
  • Receive the public and answer questions in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries and refer to the appropriate person or department
  • Check-in/check-out patients
  • Collect co-pays, co-insurance and past balance on the patient billing account
  • Verify current day Medicaid/MCO patients
  • Verify all intake paperwork is completed and all required fields are signed by parent/guardian
  • Create room assignment schedules
  • Complete patient files
  • Create school excuses
  • Schedule future appointments
  • Cancel/reschedule appointments
  • Responsible for trash & cleaning public & restroom areas
  • Collect past-due billing accounts in Fusion
  • Manage fax and voicemail systems
  • Share office opening and closing responsibilities
