• Maintenance Assistant Full Time 18 Per Hour

Monday thru Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Middletown

Job Summary:

Perform minor building repairs, maintenance , and renovations or assist trades specialists in the more extensive tasks. Assist in the maintenance of district grounds, and property to provide safe. attractive , and clean athletic fields, recreation areas and grounds.

Primary Duties:

• Assist trade specialists in completing repairs, maintenance, and renovations in the fields of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, AC and refrigeration.
• Perform minor repairs, maintenance, and renovations of building interiors, and exteriors
• Perform minor repairs of the districts HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing systems
• Perform emergency repairs on an "On call as needed" basis
• Perform District ground services as needed including Snow removal, Mowing ,.
• Set up and teardown all necessary equipment , materials and supplies for scheduled events.
• Transport equipment, food, supplies for scheduled events
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualification's:

Must be able to work weekends to perform building checks

Knowledge of building operating systems including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry,, electrical and mechanical systems

Ability to left/move 100 lbs.

Ability on how to use forklifts, snow removal , lift gate box truck

Ability to climb 40 foot ladders

Ability to work from elevated platforms such as bucket trucks and lifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
