JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for analyzing requirements, designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining end to end data driven web applications to meet specific company business requirements. Developer will use Microsoft .NET Framework, Visual Basic .NET, Microsoft SQL Server and a variety of frontend frameworks. Supports the eCommerce Support team in all aspects of day-to-day operations

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Developer for all internal and external web applications, including GForce, GS Services, company Intranet, TMS and Optimizely B2B. Will use their skills in both frontend and backend development to support existing applications and build new features to enhance the technology stack.
  • Provide support to eCommerce Support team, adding users to internal systems, debugging requests within production systems, analyze requests from users within our applications.
  • Document current processes and new initiatives as they are developed.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science preferred

Experience

6+ years' web development experience in Object Oriented Programming using Visual Studio, VB.NET, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2005, SQL server 2008, T-SQL, HTML HTML5, DHTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, CSS3, XML, AJAX, .NET framework 2.0 - 4.5 and three-tier architectures.

Professional Skills
  • Ability to utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and VB.NET
  • Ability to design, code and test web applications using ASP.NET and Visual Basic.NET languages
  • Experience with Optimizely B2B eCommerce platform
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Strong relational database, SQL query and stored procedure writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of XML to assist in debugging PunchOut related issues.
  • Knowledge of IIS 7, web farms, clustered SQL environments SQL 2008, 2012, Server 2008 R2 a plus.
  • Ability to understand complex business rules and write code based on these rules.
  • Ability to successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions and meetings. Understands team dynamics and works well within a team structure. Capable of working with peers and associates from other departments and shifts in a proactive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to understand and execute all relevant policies and procedures in a consistent, timely and objective manner.
  • Ability to work in a disciplined, consistent, timely and objective manner and capable of following established policies, procedures and practices. Complies with local, state and federal regulations.
