Go Kart/Small Engine Mechanic

Overview:

The successful candidate must have a track record of mechanical/small engine repair experience, preferably with go karts and golf carts. The candidate must be a self- starter, independent troubleshooter and possess the ability thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and repairing go kart fleet which includes but is not limited to the following:
• Preventive maintenance
• Diagnosis of mechanical issues, wiring repair, parts replacement, parts ordering, safety checks, cleaning of karts and keeping updated maintenance records
• Ensuring the kart repair area is clean, organized and a safe environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and team to achieve goals
• Must have weekend availability and be “on-call” as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

• Mechanical experience with go karts and small engines required.
• Graduate of Technical College preferred.

Salary:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE + Overtime
This is a full-time position.

• Tinley Park, IL 60477: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• small engine: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
