This role is a Host/To-Go at Osteria for Paradies OKC location in the Will Rogers Airport.


The Host is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, seating of guests, and performing a variety of other tasks within the restaurant. Osteria OKC is a full-service restaurant and craft bar dedicated to offering a bold and fresh perspective on classic Italian food, with a communal, neighborhood appeal to deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

All Paradies Lagardère positions, including the Host/ To-Go, require that you embody a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members at all times.   • Must have a passion for the guest!
  • Exceed First Class Service standards and behaviors with every guest, business partner, and peers.
  • Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip resistant shoes.
  • Create a lasting first and last impression. Engage with guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate wait time and monitor waiting lists.
  • Use knowledge of menu to answer guest questions.
  • Coordinate with Front of House staff regarding available seating.
  • Seat guests, ensuring proper server rotation is maintained.
  • Process to-go orders quickly and efficiently in the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and debit transaction accurately.
  • Maintain store appearance with respect to merchandising and maintenance standards.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws.
  • Responds appropriately to customer concerns.
  • Ensures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked host stand.
  • Assist servers and food runners, as needed. Must be able to maneuver heavy trays of food.
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.
  • Self-motivated, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Positive interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics, in English.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder and walking long distances.
  • Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.

REQUIREMENTS

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required
    • Able to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
    • Knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and cash handling procedures.
    • Efffective communication skills and able to work independently as well as with other team members
    • Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with
  • customers and peers.
  • 18 years of age or older
