We are currently seeking a driven Human Resources professional to join our fantastic team. This exciting new opportunity will provide full cycle Human Resources support to our Corporate Office and Denver Central Reservations office. The role is responsible for employee onboarding, performance management, communications, change management, employee relations, employee offboarding, and Corporate HR policies and procedures. This role serves as a steward of Xanterra’s culture and will be critical in executing people initiatives, providing great internal customer service, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the onboarding process creates a positive employee experience.
  • Delivers new hire orientation and successfully introduces new employees to the corporate culture.
  • Monitors the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of engagement throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Supports business leaders to coach, give feedback, and manage performance effectively.
  • Develops and implements programs that promote recognition, development and retention of key talent.
  • Leads the Corporate Living our Values Committee.
  • Creates and posts content for the employee intranet.
  • Implements and analyzes results of employee feedback surveys and exit interviews and makes recommendations to create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Provides support and guidance to management and staff on employee relations issues.
  • Provides advice and oversight on corrective action and termination meetings.
  • Assists with the development of policies and procedures, including reviewing and updating P&P Manuals and Employee Handbooks.
  • Conducts informational meetings, training sessions, and other communication forums to explain and discuss human resource policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to the ongoing improvement of our HR operations, making them more efficient and responsive to our employees’ needs, ensuring adherence to best practice and relevant legislation.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Other job-related responsibilities and projects as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience in human resource management.
  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00.
