Summary:
The Java Software Engineering Team Lead supervises an assigned team in the development and maintenance of specific applications or functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assigns staff to the specific projects for which the team is responsible and ensures that team members are appropriately trained for completion of job duties.

· Determines user needs, establishes priorities, and plans, directs and monitors work.

· Establishes and maintains project methodology.

· Evaluates project status and recommends changes to improve efficiency.

· Ensures that deadlines and budgets are met.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree

· 5+ years leading others in the development of software in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in following tech stack traces:

· Java Spring boot

· Splunk or equivalent log aggregator

· Dyntrace

· Experience using cloud platforms and developing apps that are cloud native.

· Experience developing REST APIs

· Work well in a team environment.

· Ability to take on issues and bring them to completion making sure a consistent delivery process is followed.

· Self-motivated and able to lead others.

· Able to work well under pressure when required.

· Available for on-call production support as needed.

· Experience in TCH Real Time Payments or any money movement platforms

· Experience in rewriting a legacy platform and migrating large applications (10MM$ per day and above)

· Building apps that are available 24*7*365

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
