Reports to: Retail Store Manager

Classification: Hourly/Non-exempt

Summary/Objective

Keyholders are the “Manager on Duty” when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are not available. Key Holders are responsible for opening and closing the store and adhering to all the regulations around those tasks. Key Holders will still be responsible for accomplishing Budtender tasks but will have a great responsibility for the success and safety of the store.

Essential Functions

• Budtender note log
• Regular store open/close
• METRC check patients
• Accept deliveries
• Close budtender POS
• Close budtender drawers
• Assist/Lead morning sales meetings
• Assist in daily audits
• Assist Store/Assistant Manager with daily tasks

KeyHolders help ensure the smooth operation of the store by organizing the efforts of the budtenders toward the goals of the Location Manager, the Keyholder direct report.

Qualifications

• Previous Budtender experience (up to one year preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of strains and products that we carry in our stores
• Intermediate knowledge of MED Regulations
• Competent in Metrc.
• Intermediate knowledge of policies and procedures regarding Medical Dispensaries.
• High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment:

This position is located in one of our Good Meds Retail locations. Covid-19 actions: the stores have been re-configured so that there is as much social distancing as possible. All employees are required to wear masks and wash hands during the course of their shift.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position and hours of work may be 09:00 a.m. to 07:30p.m. Weekends and holidays will be part of the schedule for the position
