Job description

Distinct Lawns is a fast-growing lawn care and landscaping company looking to hire enthusiastic hard workers that are willing to learn and grow with the company. Ideal candidates are positive, dependable, teachable, and excellent communicators.

Desired crew lead member position characteristics include:

  • Self-starter, accountable, humble, driven, desire to manage others
  • Must have a valid Drivers License and a Clean Driving Record
  • Must be 21 with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
  • Experience running walk-behind, stand on and zero turn mowers
  • Experience running weedeaters, blowers, and handheld equipment
  • General bed and shrub maintenance
  • Mulch, pine straw, and plant installation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in the hot and cold as this is an outdoor position year-round
  • Honesty, integrity, punctuality, and a desire to work as a team
  • Able to work weekends and as needed to finish the task

The office and shop are located in the Youngsville and Franklinton area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • lawn care or landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

Work Location: In person
