Primary Responsibilities
- Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
- Blasts bridges inside blast booth to remove mill scale and prep steel surface for paint.
- Must pass pulmonary fit test and be capable of wearing blast suit for long period of time ( 2+ hours)
- Perform operator maintenance to booth and spray hose.
- Checks all finished work for obvious defects prior to final inspection.
- Maintains work area and equipment in clean, orderly conditions.
- Other duties assigned
