The Role


“This Job Matters” - What’s the job?

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for daily coordination and scheduling of personnel, materials, and technical resources in the maintenance department to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. The Maintenance Supervisor also manages Kronos payroll system, schedules any needed overtime, and manages the maintenance work order flow.

  • Identify preventative and corrective maintenance activities necessary to support operations
  • Plan and schedule these opportunities through the SAP work order system
  • Supervise maintenance personnel
  • Track equipment history and parts usage through the SAP work order system

The incumbent must have an in-depth knowledge of maintenance organization and operations, and an understanding of industrial maintenance procedures. The incumbent should be familiar with electrical applications and should possess a mechanical aptitude. The incumbent must possess excellent communication skills to motivate and tactfully deal with a diverse group of people.

  • Education – Successful completion of an apprenticeship program and/or a business management program
  • Any additional training/certifications completed
  • Two or more years of lead of supervisory experience preferred
  • A working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical fields, organization, communication skills needed
  • Ability to use SAP and Microsoft Suite applications
  • Travel – less than 10%

Additional Information


Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $66,900 to $103,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $72,900 to $112,800.
