Mosquito Joe is a local, family owned service company providing mosquito, tick, and flea control to residential and commercial customers throughout Erie and Niagara counties of Western New York. Job SummaryThis role will require someone with tactical thinking to develop a plan for marketing initiatives and identify the best return on investment. The Marketing Specialist will have dual reporting to the owner and the manager of Customer Relations/Sales. You will receive training to understand the brand, the services we provide, sales process, and a general overview of the products we use. You will also receive high-level training on mosquito, flea, and tick habitat and life cycles.
Primary activities in this role include refining and executing a marketing plan, managing promotions throughout our season, and working with various members in the community to promote our business. Effective communication will be important for this role when working with the Corporate Marketing team, participating in Mosquito Joe local events, attending Chamber of Commerce meetings, and more. Organization and planning will be another aspect of this role through coordinating various activities such as employee engagement and team building events. You will collaborate with the owner and other members of the leadership and sales team.

Duties
- Assist with Digital Marketing Plan and Strategies to drive customer recruitment
- Coordinate website content
- Manage business photography and videography for social media platforms and the website
- Manage SEM (search engine marketing) with third party partners
- Paid Digital Marketing initiative
- Assist with social media posts by developing content to engage more users
- Work with the community to deliver informative content
- Lead community events and sponsorships
- Assist with managing and executing various campaigns such as education “Drip Email Campaign”
- Team building event setup and execution including meetings
- Communicate with loyal customers on receiving positive reviews through various platforms

- Required to have at least 1 year of marketing / business coursework at a local college or university
