The Materials Receiving Technician (MRT) will be responsible for overseeing the ordering/receiving of all clinical supplies and equipment; monitoring all deliveries, shelving and rotating of stock; keeping track of inventory levels for Operations needs and identifies trends for usage adjustments.

The MRT will coordinate the logistics of ordering, organizing, and distribution of all inventory supplies to maximize use and identify opportunities to eliminate waste. MRT will ensure that Central Supply Operations and Policy and Procedures relating to the functions described below are compliant with all regulatory requirements. Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with policies and procedures, regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

1. Maintains relationships with internal and external partnerships in completing materials ordering process, using high organizational skills required for tracking and accuracy of product orders.

2. Completes and documents daily product ordering and communicates delays or product availability issues with leadership to identify solutions.

3. Receives all incoming products daily to inspect for packaging integrity, accuracy of delivery order, placement for storage, and logs items received into supply materials tracking system.

4. Reconciles monthly PO system to ensure inventory system accuracy.

5. Participates in routine materials inventory reconciliation to ensure proper utilization of supply management systems.

6. Maintains constant communications with the recovery locations to monitor their recovery supplies needs.

7. Completes packing organ and tissue recovery supplies bins, packs, and kits.

8. Coordinates all aspects of cleaning of Central Supply warehouse inventory storage areas recovery kits per OneLegacy’s Policies and Procedures.

9. Ensures cleanliness of Central Supply areas at each OneLegacy facilities as outlined in OneLegacy’s Policies and Procedures. Responsible for daily disposal of trash and recycling receptacles in the Central Supply warehouse.

10. Assists leadership to facilitate preparation of Central Supply Operations for internal or external audits/inspections.

Location: Primary office is Redlands. Some travel to other OneLegacy facilities including Los Angeles and Orange, with use of company vehicle.

Travel: The Materials Receiving Technician is required to travel as necessary to perform job functions as requested.

Work Hours: Performs a forty-hour workweek as determined by assigned shift. Assigned days and/or shift can be changed according to staffing needs. Must be available evenings, holidays, and weekends as required, and work overtime as required and assigned.

Education: Associates Degree from a two-year college, completion of Surgical Technologist, EMT program, or equivalent training in an affiliated health field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two years experience in supply management preferred.

Certification/License: OneLegacy requires employees to maintain a current California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance based policy HR108-Licensure and Certification.

Requirement: Employee must be able to pass a local government agency (coroner’s office) background check.

Equipment: Reliable automotive transportation required.
