Diagnostic Group, LLC develops intuitive and easy to use hearing screening devices and distributes them internationally to hearing health professionals around the world. The Service Technician is responsible for repairing audiometric equipment and providing phone support to field technicians with hardware issues. The position reports to the Director of Operations at the Eden Prairie, MN office complex. This role is 100% on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer-oriented problem resolutions for all internal and external customers in a timely fashion.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and equipment.
• Work with minimal supervision and make an established range of decisions, escalating to management when necessary.
• Perform a variety of duties with frequent interruptions or distractions, adjusting priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

Qualifications:

• General knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment.
• Technology service technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic test and measurement equipment including multi-meters and oscilloscope, frequency counters, and power supplies preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Oral and written communication skills, ability to clearly articulate one’s position with external sources.
• Ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable; able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Some overnight travel will be necessary (less than 5% of the time.)
