Tube Mill Operator Summary
HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Tube Mill position at our Metal Plant in Hickory, NC. This is a 3rd shift position (Sunday-Thursday 11:30pm - 7:30a) The pay for this position is $16.97/hr.
Tube Mill Operator Responsibilities and Duties

• Assists to oversee Tube Mill plant operations
• Assists Lead Person with the following: Productions scheduling, Scheduled and Preventative Maintenance, Inventory, Production Reporting, Ordering of supplies, Training/Safety compliance, ISO Coordinator
• Attach labels as directed by Forklift Operator, Lead Person, or Supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as required,
• Maintain tooling and set - up program using surface, Grinders, lathes, and CNC's.
• Performs in process check and paper work for rework. Completes all required paperwork. Train new employees.
• Clear minor jams on the machine. Maintain production schedule.
• Maintain safe work environment.

Tube Mill Operator Qualifications

• Must have excellent attendance and work record.
• Must be able to write well.
• Must be able to count and do simple math.
• Lifting 25 to 35 lbs may be required
• Production assembly a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace production line.
• Must be able to use rivet machine, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, power drill, staple gun, box cutter, banders.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to perform other duties as deemed by management
