Position Summary: Our busy Urology clinic in Provo is looking to hire a highly motivated, skilled, kind, honest and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work full time in the clinical setting. Urology experience is not necessary – as physicians are willing to train specialty specific skills.

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate with physicians to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan. Provide medical care and treatment to patients, under prescribed guidelines and direction of physician.
• Perform physical exams, document in electronic medical record, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications.
• Order, interpret and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests to identify and assess patient clinical problems and health care needs.
• Will be trained to see approximately 20 patients in office per day with: kidney stones, kidney/bladder/prostate cancer, urinary incontinence, elevated PSA, erectile dysfunction, catheters, overactive bladder, female organ prolapse, benign prostatic hyperplasia, pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary tract infection. A medical assistant will be assigned to help with related patient care, notes and tasks.
• Will also be trained to assist surgeons in robotic surgical cases such as prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, sacrocolpopexy and pyeloplasty.
• Will not be expected to round on patients in the hospital, take hospital call or consults.

Qualifications: - National Certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. - Must hold current appropriate Utah State License and DEA registration.

Hours: - Monday-Thursday (8:00A-5:00P) - Friday (8:00A-12:00P) - Willing to discuss schedule flexibility and support healthy work-life balance.
