Duties:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining.
• Monitoring and documenting vital signs, as well as reporting any changes in the resident's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Assisting with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of their care.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Responding promptly to call lights and other requests for assistance, providing emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment within the facility, ensuring resident safety and room cleanliness.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities in order to stay current with the latest care techniques and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• 18 years old and above
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Proof of vaccination from the COVID flu
• Proof of TB test
• Physically fit to lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility
• Willingness to be trained
• Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions with minimal supervision
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• BLS/CPR Certification required
