The Fischer Group is looking for an experienced manufacturing operations manager to join our team. The manufacturing operations manager is responsible for the operations of our manufacturing group as it relates to meeting customer needs, regulatory/quality requirements, overall safety, and organizational goals.

The Fischer Group is an end-to-end product development company that delivers agile innovation plus speed to market to bring our customers’ product ideas to manufacturing and into market in a matter of months. We manufacture disposable, consumer packaged goods on a two-shift operation running Monday through Friday. Some weekends shifts are scheduled occasionally.

Responsibilities of the manufacturing operations manager include but are not limited to:

· Overseeing and running the day-to-day manufacturing operations for 2-6 contract manufacturing projects.

· Ensure employee safety and safety compliance.

· Ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer and regulatory requirements.

· Ensure raw materials are delivered just in time by working with the procurement team.

· Ensure staffing for production lines and warehouse meets minimum levels and drive staffing efficiencies.

· Ensure production line efficiency and quotas are being met daily and weekly.

· Ensure procedures and policies for the ERP/MRP system, quality, safety, good manufacturing procedures, general operations, etc. are being followed in manufacturing.

· Ensure production supervisor, warehouse leadership, and line leaders are trained and executing processes and procedures properly.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma (Minimum)

· 5+ years experience in a leadership role in manufacturing operations

· Ability to build and develop team members from various backgrounds

· Familiar with LEAN manufacturing concepts

· Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot operational issues

· Background driving continuous improvement

· Some ability to speak Spanish (preferred)

· Experience with ERP/MRP systems

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
