Hawaiian Smiles Orthodontics is looking for an orthodontic assistant an orthodontic dental practice. We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for orthodontics. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and adults and has a passion for helping people in a fast past enviroment. The right candidate will have an interest in patient care and an ability to communicate with patients before and during treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to orthodontists and their support staff.
- Refer patients to the dentist or other health care providers.
- Assist patients during orthodontic procedures.
- Maintain patient records.
- Be familiar with insurance coverage and requirements.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet patients.
- TRAVEL is required and full paid for with Travel benfits and extra travel pay
