Job description
Wisconsin Chemists group is seeking a motivated and business minded Pharmacist.
The position available is a full-time Pharmacy Manager position working Tuesday through Friday one week alternating with Wednesday through Saturday. Hours are 8:30am to 6pm weekdays and Saturdays 8:30am to 2pm.
We are in search of candidates who have a strong interest in data driven decision making, financial analytics, and pharmacy operations. Equally important is a desire to provide exceptional customer service and communication to our patients. The successful candidates will be self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire co-workers.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to the pharmacy staff in the processing of prescriptions
- Prepare medications for home delivery.
- Verify incoming prescription information
- Accurately prepare patient prescriptions for dispensing
- Inventory management
- Provide patient consultation
Qualifications include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Accurate typing and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Current Wisconsin pharmacist licensure
- Certification to administer vaccinations in the state of Wisconsin
Working Conditions include:
- Physical requirements: Repetitive use of hands and fingers.
- May require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 25 pounds).
- Ability to reach down to the floor and up to higher shelves to retrieve medications, and have the manual dexterity to handle small tablets and capsules, and to remove bottle caps.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary.
Salary: $53.00 to $58.00 /hour
