WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Restocking and checking of Pyxis machines and nursing units including onsite and offsite units.

• Verify integrity of medications in Pyxis machines / floor stock areas.

• Check for appropriate dating, and stock levels.

• Make routine deliveries of filled medication orders and pick up new orders to be filled.

• Package and maintain records of medications not prepackaged.

• Monthly checking of assigned departments for outdates.

• Compound sterile IV products.

• Enter medication charges and credits into computer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• 1 year Sterile Products Preferred and
• 1 year Sterile Compounding Preferred and
• 1 year Pharmaceutical/Pharmacology Preferred and
• Pharmacy Tech-In-Training Required
• Pharmacy Intern Permit (PHINTERN) - . Upon Hire Required or
• Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - . Upon Hire Required and
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification - . Upon Hire Required

8 Hours per week.
