Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director or the staff pharmacist, The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for accurately performing all advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. In addition, the Pharmacy Technician II may be responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) and other specialized duties as assigned by the pharmacy management team.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- State of Florida Registration as a Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacist Intern required
- National certification (PTCB) as a Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) preferred
Minimum if 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required
