Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking candidates for a Planning Specialist position to support the AEGIS Technical Representative Professional Support Services Contract in Moorestown, NJ. Planning Specialists are responsible for drafting, maintaining, and implementing project schedules and coordinating executive and ancillary staff logistics. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Plan and manage detailed schedules for on-site operation, maintenance, installations, and emergent tasking
  • Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate the scope, workflow, and resources required to execute the program
  • Provide actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to execution conflicts
  • Lead in-person and virtual site scheduling meetings
  • Participate in Sites Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other meetings as required
  • Plan and coordinate site Tours in support of Senior Leadership and Project Leads
  • Maintain and update briefing materials as required

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:


  • BA/BS or equivalent higher-education degree with at least one year of experience OR
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least five years of applicable professional experience in planning and scheduling is acceptable in lieu of a college degree
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, skilled or expert in MS Project
  • Experience analyzing data and facilitating meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrent
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to report findings both orally and in writing to the customer


Qualifications:


  • Active DoD Secret Security clearance is highly desired, however, candidates who are eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. If the selected candidate does not hold an active clearance, he/she will receive a contingent offer. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.


Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling
  • Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices
  • Lifting boxes (files and supplies) of up to 20 lbs
