The Poly CAD Lead position is located in Clarmeont, North Carolina.

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

  • Create specs per brand recommendations.
  • Ensure design content is captured.
  • Create component libraries.
  • Utilize 3D software to create constrained product models through the use of component libraries and on-screen development.
  • Ensure all product changes are updated to specs and models.
  • Lead Poly associates to perform daily tasks promptly and with high standards in order to achieve departmental and facility production goals using documented SOPs.
  • Lead through example by performing department tasks safely, correctly, and quickly; demonstrating integrity and acting in a responsible and accountable manner.
  • Establish and promote hard work ethics through teamwork and collaboration with associates.
  • Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company. Ensure the maintaining of a clean and safe work environment; communicate safety topics and conduct safety audits.
  • Track productivity, research and resolve issues, provide feedback on productivity and quality related performance to associates, peers and Operations Managers by using departmental resources.
  • Adopt and endorse continuous improvement concepts where applicable.
  • Assist in root cause analysis on issues pertaining to product, quality, cost.
  • Other duties assigned by manager.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of Poly CAD experience in or equivalent.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in Solid Edge, Solidworks, or AutoCad.
  • Up to 2-3 years of experience working in furniture manufacturing.
