Nestled at the foot of the picturesque Camelback Mountain in the exclusive enclave of Paradise Valley, the Montelucia Resort & Spa features 253 luxurious guestrooms, 38 suites and two presidential suites. The property’s distinctive architecture is inspired by the rich history, white-washed villages and sun-drenched hills of Spain’s Andalusia region. The property also includes the award-winning Moroccan inspired Joya Spa, three resort pools and five dining options including the critically acclaimed restaurant, Prado. The resort, which is adjacent to the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale, offers easy access to golf, recreation, nightlife and entertainment.
Job Description:
  • To deliver prompt, courteous service ensuring guest needs are met and maintain a clean organized pool.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet all guests promptly and courteously.
  • Upselling and suggestive selling when order taking.
  • Pickup of orders.
  • Delivery of beverages to guests.
  • Maintain clean and clear areas of lounge and monitor guest tables.
  • Clean and clear service areas.
  • Departing guests, ensuring proper payment.
  • Assist in overall supervision of the pool deck.
  • Inspect pools facilities regularly for cleanliness and safety to meet Omni standards.
  • Oversee and provide growth to all pool attendants.
  • Act as a coach and be a positive role model for associates and colleagues.
  • Effectively use the Omni Service Champions program to recognize and reward outstanding customer service.
  • Observe, teach, and correct staff’s service
  • Clear Towels and empty glassware and plates around pool deck.
  • Lead the other pool attendants.
  • Monitor the deck to regulate rules and safety of the pool
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must have significant mobility of arms and hands. Must be able to bend, squat and push, pull and lift up to 25-30 pounds. Must be able to see, hear and communicate verbally in writing.
  • 2-3 years experience with computers and various computer programs.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Individual must be a good listener, effective communicator and detail oriented.
  • Individual will be expected to meet deadlines, work with little supervision and be flexible to handle interruptions.
  • Individual must be literate, have extensive verbal, mathematical and writing skills.
  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished, oral or diagrammatic form.
  • Must have strong, positive guest and employee relation skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Must have Food Handler's Card and TIPS
