• 6 month contract and could extend
• Looking for someone local who can go onsite 2days per week, for non local / 100% candidate will need to have all the asks below
• Current Bose employee is retiring on July 10th so they need to hire ASAP for knowledge transfer
• PowerBI engineering systems analyst that has significant skills in Power BI, Sharepoint and Power Automate, along with other tools from the MS suite. Ideally, this candidate will also have Workfront experience, but I know that combination will be difficult to find.
• Someone that can go deep into power but I reports will not be creating new reports but if something is broken they need to know how to fix it look at the logic and how the reports are structured to fix it
• This person will essentially be keeping the lights on as a relates to the reports and doing some light changes
• There’s about 12 to 13 critical reports the person will be working on work front which is their project management tool would be a huge plus if they don’t have it they will train on it as they will be doing some of the administration work on it for updating resource planning
• Also need to have Power Automate and SharePoint. They do not need to be a heavy SharePoint user but need to know how to structure a Library in a list in SharePoint and know how SharePoint interacts with power automate

As an PowerBI Analyst, you’ll be collaborating with our product development teams, as well as operations teams in other functions such as Business, Sales and Marketing in supporting new and revised processes and tools

You will enable driving sound business decisions through the development and implementation of dashboards and other reporting and forecasting tools. Users of our processes will also benefit from your skills in crafting and implementing training plans and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support improvement initiatives to our existing product development systems and crafting solutions to sophisticated problems will draw on your strong analytical skills, creativity, and ability to collaborate across various disciplines.
• Provide configuration support, as well as tools, templates, and workflow management, for our current and future state business systems and tools.
• Create detailed documentation and support/deliver orientation, user training, and support.
• Design and deliver interactive performance dashboards and indicators that accurately convey the critical health indicators of the product development community.
• Prepare analyses and plans that support key engineering reviews, such as resource capacity, performance-to-plan assessments, and project governance.
• May also lead portions of improvement and implementation projects, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, BI, data analytics or similar.
• Consistent record in capturing and transforming technical and functional requirements into useful data models to meet business needs.
• Expertise in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Confluence required
• Experience with configuration management, tools administration, and data analysis, particularly with Workfront or other similar resource / project management tools in a product development environment is strongly preferred.
• Some knowledge of project management methodologies and facilitation techniques a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Project, Jama is a plus.
