Professional Services Consultant

Overview:

An ERGOS Professional Services Consultant is expected to apply their advanced technical skill set, analytical approach, and considerable technical proficiency through a combination of support escalations as a subject matter expert, participation in project lifecycle including discovery, scoping, preparation, and execution, as well as act as a mentor for other technical services employees and own assigned support and project initiatives through successful completion.

Professional Services consultants will complete project scoping in advance of client quote generation, perform complex IT environment assessments, and act as lead engineer for client projects within the SMB through enterprise level business and education sectors.

Professional Services consultants may assist with client onboarding and offboarding projects and leverage their expertise to ensure clients are best positioned for success by applying the proper technology solutions for their business model.

Requirements:

Must be able to work independently within a fast-paced environment and be flexible to redirect focus on-the-fly by:

• Quickly analyzing advanced technical issues in varying situations and formulating responsive action plans to keep client need and expectations.

• Applying appropriate technologies to solve client business challenges through project origination and completion.

Responsibilities

Includes project scoping, management and completion of SMB and enterprise level environment- designed projects, through utilization and development of ERGOS primary tool sets. Professional Services Consultants are responsible for the creation of detailed network diagrams and concise change documentation to ensure consistent and viable support, communication accountability with client services teams. Professional Services Consultants will participate in on-call rotations, as well as on-site travel to client project locations as and where required.

• Hybrid work environment, enabling employee flexibility while maintaining team coordination and planning
• As changed client documentation, and detailed network diagrams to reflect project achievements and client environment structure

• Participation in on-call rotation for emergency remote and on-site assistance
• Pre- scheduled for after hours and weekends with advanced notice

• Typical shifts are M-F 8am-5pm CST
• Some projects will require after-hours or weekend work, as well as pre- planned client onsite travel

Technical Qualifications:

Intermediate to Expert:

• Infrastructure design, Implementation, and support
• M365 Platform, user licensing/ Service side, and Azure/ infrastructure side

• M365 Security solutions, Identity security, Application and data security, device security

• Client and Server Operating platforms (windows 10, 11, Server 2008-2022)

• Demonstrated experience in a support role within managed services, education, or corporate environment, assisting multiple clients in a remote or direct support role

Entry level- to Moderate:

• Experience in Migrations between platforms
• Mail and data based

• Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions

Bonus Experience Areas:

• MacOS and IOS support knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
