Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code.

Position Summary:

Primary function of this position is to provide oversight and supervision of IDD Authority and Provider teams. This position is responsible for monitoring and evaluating IDD Authority and Provider staff billing performance, and to ensure that all billing opportunities are achieved in accordance to each individual’s individualized plans. This position is also responsible for fidelity and oversight of service documentation and delivery, and to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met or exceeded. This position is responsible for possessing a working knowledge of all TAC and HHS program requirements for Authority and Provider programs, as well as implementation and on- going monitoring of these activities. This position will conduct required trainings, along with other duties as assigned by the Director of IDD Services in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Education, or Counseling, or Graduate of an accredited school of nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
  • Two (2) years of IDD service provision preferred

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:

  • Current driver’s license and vehicle for use while at work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships with staff and healthcare providers
  • Knowledge of Minimum Data Set (MDS) guidelines
  • Working knowledge in Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Medical Staff Coordination and/or continuous quality improvement philosophies and principles is preferred
  • Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
  • The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
