Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Project Leader is responsible for supervision of individual contributors, project management, and smooth operations of the team/project.
  • Maintain adequate billable hours/ applied ratio. Compliance to all project/people management process
  • Resource planning; Internal trainings; KRA, Directional feedback and PIP, Coaching, Interview/Hiring support and Day to day management, IDPs
  • Responsible for following project types: T&M, Task Based projects, Low complexity, Single service, Single bill rates, On time delivery, Proposal preparations & Risk Assessments.
  • Project Health monitoring , Can own RCAs and Productivity/Continuous Improvements, Attend Quality Audits
  • Responsible for Daily touch points with direct Reportees. Regular team meetings to flow down company and immediate organizational communications..
  • Culture champion/ambassador: setting a good example for the rest of the team/organization. Be a focal for Quest Global processes
  • Discussing Scope and draft SOWs, weekly status reports, progress & quality reviews, change management, CSAT/CSI
  • Work with technical leaders to ensure projects are executed with high technical quality and technical career development is provided to team members using IDP, training, competency assessments and coaching. Create environment where Cascading Talent is encouraged.
  • Responsible for Weekly , bi-weekly or monthly connects with customers on team performance
  • Ensures manufacturing processes are clearly defined and communicated from manufacturing engineering to the shop floor via technical instructions, MIs, job briefings etc.
  • Detects and tracks non-conformances and lead the process of root cause analysis and corrective and preventive measure definition
  • Develops and implements product-specific manufacturing processes and tooling, utilizing sound engineering judgment and methodologies
  • Ensures safety and quality requirements are met during component manufacturing to internal and customer requirements
  • Perform process audits and runs continuous improvement projects
  • Support the Gas Turbine or Steam Turbine service business is all quality aspects


Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Ideal candidate will have a technical BS degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Understanding of engineering and quality tools
  • Experience within the Oil and Gas / Power Generation industry

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of project management tools such as planning, finances, tracking, and reporting
  • Appreciation for people and dynamic teams with diverse experiences
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to increase manufacturing quality, efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness
  • Candidate should be familiar with Lean and or Six Sigma philosophies and their application in process capability and improvement
  • Highly motivated to adapt to and/or improve dynamic and complex manufacturing processes
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written will be highly valued
  • MRP experience is preferred – SAP experience is emphasized


Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
