Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include identification of signs and symptoms that signal appropriateness for PT examination and also the actual examination, evaluation, planning, organizing, and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients. Implement therapy according to established plan, utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment and techniques within the scope of physical therapy. Educate the patient and/or the caregiver about the findings of the examination, evaluation, established goals of the physical therapy program, plan of treatment, home programs, injury prevention, and other related information. Communicates effectively with other patient care team members and coordinates care provided. Assist in directing PT Assistants with their caseloads and their documentation. Work in an environment that requires seven-day-a-week coverage.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED: State of California Physical Therapy license or eligible for licensure. Current BLS certification.
