At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Sanitation Associate based in DuBois, PA!


The Sanitation Associate role conducts production equipment cleaning, floor and facilities cleaning, chemical handling, pest control and building upkeep. Supports company goals, processes, and procedures to ensure highest quality products are produced in a thoroughly clean environment.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Maintains required documentation current and accurately
  • Must be able to clean the interior/exterior of the plant, floors and walls, drains, and conveyors as assigned
  • Discard trash from different areas of the facility
  • Cleans ingredient staging area warehouse and coolers, and other areas as needed
  • CIP tanks and lines as needed
  • Perform duties as per master sanitation schedule
  • Clean thoroughly and efficiently while placing high importance on food safety and the quality of the product being produced.
  • Other duties as assigned
About you

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:


Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 6 – 9 months experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required is acceptable
  • Must have a good working knowledge of CIP systems and chemicals used in cleaning

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Successful performance of this job requires an individual to perform each essential function satisfactorily.   • Good working knowledge of CIP systems and chemicals used in cleaning
  • Computer experience required.
