Job Responsibilities - School Psychologist:
- Serves as a child advocate, promoting the educational, social and emotional growth of students and maintains a positive attitude toward his/her profession and work with students,
- Make recommendations based on psychological findings in cases of exemption, retention, acceleration, and other placement situations,
- Administers and scores cognitive, academic, and social-emotional evaluations under the supervision of the certified school psychologist,
- Participate in Child Study Team Meetings, IEP meetings, and reviews test results with parents,
- Share in responsibility of reviewing incoming students’ records to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit needed reports as requested by Principal or Director of Student Services.
Qualification - School Psychologist:
- Master's degree
- Massachusetts certification as a School Psychologist
- 1+ years experience as a School Psychologist
