The Sr. Associate Customer Planning is a key member of the Revenue Growth Management team with the core objective of establishing an Optimal Price based on the Value to the Consumer and ensuring a consistent Brand Architecture.

This position is fully remote, with preference for applicants to be in the US East Coast area

This position will work with the NYC Metro Account team on intercity independent price execution, and program evaluations to maximize BBU’s Profits and Share. This will be accomplished with a strong discipline focused on trade planning, financial and quantitative analysis, and the oversight of various programs within the given customer(s).


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account and planning leads and define customer execution objectives that align with BBU’s overall business direction, quantify the value of opportunities, and ultimately assess progress against goals
  • Conduct monthly strategic planning reviews to analyze business performance for gaps versus plan and lead the development of gap closures/solutions for leadership teams
  • Assist in the development of customer planning process within the Metro NYC customer team which includes strategic alignment and execution of brand expectations, communicating those expectations and meeting all deliverables
  • Evaluate executional results and strategy outcomes to avoid market disruption, optimize trade spend, improve ROI, and ensure promotions are within Brand pricing guardrails
  • Ensure all Promotional programs are communicated to all customers and reconcile with BBU sales planning teams, so they accurately reflected in BBU’s Trade Promotional and customer calendar programing on a month-to-month basis.

  • Experience working in a remote team setting under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to determine key issues and develop effective action plans.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business-related field preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • 3- 5 years of experience in Customer Planning, Sales Management or other relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of IRI data and the ability to analyze data.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility and ability to multi-task required in fast-paced DSD fresh bakery category.
  • Computer skills and high proficiency, specifically in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required.
  • Internal System proficiency includes: Margin Minder
  • Travel is required – 10%.
