Job description
The materials leader is expected to develop and maintain an effective inventory system that maintains accurate inventory counts and delivers product to production or packing areas on time to maintain 100% on time delivery. The Materials Leader will possess effective communication and team skills, be capable of complex problem solving, and have the ability to motivate and coordinate the work of the Materials Team. The Materials Leader will provide support in the areas of day-to-day resource management.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but no required.
- Effective decision-making, verbal and written communication skills
- Complex problem solving techniques mastered
- Strong understanding of daily materials system transactions and impact to production and planning
- A willingness to help and train others
- Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn
- Be able to work overtime and different shifts if required
- Must have demonstrated a good sense of urgency
- Excellent attendance and time management
- Ability to give and receive feedback
- Fork Lift license and experience.
