THE ROLE

Seeking summer coaches/peer mentors to work at a local school in the Fallbrook Union School District, Monday - Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. This is an in-person position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Engage students in SEL & PE curriculum

• Certify mandatory instructional minutes required for the program

• Demonstrate, engage, and participate in games with students

• Lead groups of students in activities while implementing strong behavior management skills on the field

• Act as a positive and inspiring role model

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service for all students and school staff

• Follow COVID 19 protocols outlined by the school

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma

• 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching or child development strongly preferred
• Vaccinated against COVID-19, or be willing to get tested weekly

• Authorized to work in the US

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A can do attitude and a natural curiosity for solving problems

• Excellent behavioral management skills
