The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking a Superintendent of Retail Services #519. This is supervisory and financial management work, supervising the fiscal functions of the Senate Post Office and the employees’ window. The incumbent supervises the retail services and window operations provided by the Senate Post Office in multiple locations. Work also involves supervising the accounting and recording of financial transactions and preparing operating and financial reports. Work requires inputting and analyzing accounting information. Work is performed according to the Senate Mail Services Guide, Rules of the Senate, and U.S. Postal Service (USPS) operations. Work is performed with considerable independence under the Assistant Postmaster.
