Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is a desirable coffeehouse and dynamic company that is growing. Sweetwaters was founded over 28 years ago in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We are focused on providing globally inspired beverages and an excellent guest experience. We are looking for strong, creative, smart leaders to expand with us in Nashville, Tennessee!

This Sweetwaters is conveniently located in Nashville, TN off of Nolensville Pike in Lenox Village. Parking is available in front of store, as well as a rear parking deck. We are part of the overall Lenox Village neighborhood with apartments, condos and houses all within walking distance.

Team Leaders manage shifts and team members on the shift to effectively execute the activities needed to provide superior guest service and products, while cultivating a passionate and fun environment for the team.

Responsibilities:

90% Operational Leadership - Manage shifts ensuring: Our guests expectations are exceeded, sales are maximized, costs are sufficiently controlled, and all cleanliness and sanitization requirements are met.

5% Guest relations management- Creates and supports the neighborhood coffeehouse through all the community and service goals and standards set, while motivating and inspiring the team to meet and exceed our guests expectations along with the aligned business's goals and objectives.

5% Culture: promotes and develops the passionate, respectful and fun environment our café strives for.

Qualifications:

Education: High school or equivalent, Higher education or equivalent a plus

Must be willing/able to lift 30lb and stand 8 hrs.

Key Qualities of Position: Very friendly & outgoing, Basic Leadership skills (can give clear directions in a positive manner), and customer service minded.
