JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Technical Specialist (SAS Programmer) will join our Data Coordinating Center at NKI.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Develop and produce quality assurance reports in SAS
  • Prepare de-identified data sets for data exports using SAS.
  • Provide timely support to the study team on all programming matters according to the project strategies including the development of database edit specs, error messages, and skip jumps.
  • Assist with data analysis, data normalization, data conversion, and data merging.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned and under the direction of the Division Director.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Science, or related discipline preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree could be substituted by a minimum of six years of experience in SAS programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of SAS programming experience.
  • Experience in data submission to NDA, NDAR, or NDCT.
  • Experience using SQL Database.
  • Experience in REDCap.
  • Well-organized, proactive, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Background Investigation/Justice Center Review Requirements:
