Responsibilities:
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance, monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships by partnering with sales team and understanding what they need to become successful.
- Identify areas of growth within current customer base as well as develop new business.
- Leadership Skills: Motivate team members, working with them to set and meet sales goals. resolve conflicts.
- Analytical Skills: Take sales numbers and analyze them to find opportunities for growth
- Customer Service: The ability to speak with dissatisfied customers and resolve issues.
- Communication Skills: Ability to be a good listener and speaker, to help customers and employees understand your direction and recommendations. Both verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate and work with other department leads.
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales Management in a highly competitive market; prior success selling wholesale auto parts particularly in aftermarket industry preferred.- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in prospecting new business and closing sales with installers, fleets, municipalities and car dealerships a plus.
- Formal education in sales/ technical related area highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Time management with ability to multitask a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
- Position requires an individual with an outgoing and assertive personality to take initiative, be pro-active, be very positive, and have a “can-do / seize-the-day” type attitude.

- Must be proficient in Google Applications in addition to some Microsoft Office products like Word and Excel.
- Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
- General automotive knowledge helpful.
