Job Summary:

This position will assist in delivering products or equipment and picking orders for the swine and poultry divisions of Midwest Livestock Systems, LLC. Primary responsibilities include picking materials from the warehouse, fulfilling project shipments, and deliveries or transfers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• This position will report to the Warehouse Manager/Beatrice Branch Manager

• Recognizing packing lists and orders. Cross-reference orders with available inventory.

• Pulling equipment and material for construction orders and deliveries. Take inventory out of the Acumatica inventory system to ensure accurate inventory counts.

• Load delivery trucks and trailers.

• Monitor vendor orders and process incoming deliveries for inventory. Place incoming deliveries into the correct warehouse location and check into Acumatica.

• Work with the Warehouse Manager on delivery schedules and routes.

• Communicate with the Project Managers and Site Supervisors to help assure product needs shipments are being met.

• Process all warranty returns and returns from projects to assure they are properly processed back into inventory or returned to the vendor in a timely manner.

• Maintain biosecurity protocols for all equipment and materials at the branch location.

• Organize and conduct physical inventory counts and reconciliation of resulting inventory issues and challenges.

• Communicate daily needs between Warehouse and Inventory Managers

• Keeping a clean and organized warehouse.

• Assist in cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicles

• Assist in transfer truck deliveries in conjunction with the other MLS Locations (30-40% Driving)

Qualifications (Skills Required)

• Positive attitude

• Excellent organizational skills

• Detail oriented

• Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when working with vendors, co-workers, customers, etc.

• Ability to lift 75lbs

• Operate machinery (forklift, skid loader, etc.)

• Clean/Valid CDL driver’s license

** Pay depends on experience-May help train/sponsor for CDL License

Education / Experience:

• Warehouse or floor management preferred

• Semi/trailer towing experience

• Proficiency in MS Office, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
