Several Correctional Facility in Michigan have a need for $ 55.00/hr. Qualified Mental Health Professionals. MONDAY- FRIDAY-8:00am-4:30 pm.

• Adrian - critical need
• Huron Valley Correctional Facility
• Freeland - critical need
• St. Louis - critical need
• Whitmore Lake - critical need
• Jackson - MAT
• Coldwater
• ***Ionia - MSAPP needed for some locations - CRITICAL NEED
• Carson City - critical need, MAT
• Manistee- critical need. PART TIME AVAILABLE
• Marquette - critical need
• Kincheloe
• Newberry
• 8:00am - 4:30p, no weekend or holidays

A pre-employment physical, 2 step TB test and drug screen is also required

Qualifications of the Qualified Mental Health Professional

• Valid Masters level Social Work, Counseling or Psychology degree
• Current Michigan License to practice as Qualified Mental Health Professional
• Credentialing through MCBAP is preferred
• Must possess strong patient assessment, patient management, and documentation skills.
• Must possess the disposition of the personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and all levels of staff, and interact professionally as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Certified to provide Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Mental Health Professional

· Education of incarcerated individuals on substance use disorders and MAT

· Completion of assessments and treatment plans.

· Facilitate group sessions focused on recovery skills and long term success

· Knowledgeable and supportive of the 3 types of FDA=approved medications to treat opiate use disorders.

· Strong written and verbal skills

· Able to utilize electronic record formats

Pay: $55.00 per hour
