The Uftring Auto Group consists of eleven automotive franchises at six car dealerships in Peoria, East Peoria, Washington and North Pekin, Illinois. Responsibilities
- Used vehicle reconditioning and PDI's
- Determine work requested on repair orders
- Perform repairs
- Road test vehicles to quality check
- Document work performed and any applicable technical information
- Report any damage or injury to Service Manager immediately
- Keep abreast of manufacturers training
- Maintain regular attendance at shop meetings
- Operate and test equipment, hoist, and hand tools
- Knowledge of and maintain a clean work area by OSHA and dealership service safety standards
Qualifications

2+ years of Service Technician experience
- Multi-brand experience is preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, power, and hand tools

Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve and desire to do tasks correctly the first time
- Clean, neat professional appearance

Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively

Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Qualifications
Monday through Friday- 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Rotating Saturdays- 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
