Job description
Direct Community Resources is hiring several caregivers to work M-F (WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR 12pm-6pm LOCATED IN: Waxahachie, Desoto, Cedar Hill )for youth clients between the ages of 10-17 (some clients may be outside of this age range) in a professional and compassionate manner. Caregivers will work directly with caseworker to provide supervision where the child or youth is temporarily housed.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Minimum age 21
*Pass criminal background check - No child abuse/neglect crimes, No domestic crimes, No forgery or financial theft crimes, No crimes of moral turpitude.
*Complete 4 short online trainings within 1 day of being registered for the training.

JOB DUTIES
The caregiver will support (1) the safety of children and youth who are receiving CPS supervision and (2) aid CPS employees in the caring and appropriate monitoring of children and youth. Caregivers will be used on an emergency basis when a child or youth is awaiting CPS placement.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
