EROSION CONTROL CREW MEMBER (Piedmont, SC)

Position Class: Field- Hourly Hours Required: 40+ Per Week Pay: $16- $18.00/Hour based on experience and qualifications. Reports To: 101 Woodson Road, Piedmont SC 29673

Description This is an entry level General Labor position in our Upstate Branch with multiple job duties essential to daily operations in the erosion control division for Greenrise Technologies. The crew member is responsible for the physical installation of silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting, and other erosion control services on both residential and commercial sites. You may utilize vehicles, hand tools, and some equipment to complete your work each day. Hours are approximately 730am-4pm on Monday through Friday with overtime available at certain times of the year. About Greenrise: Greenrise is a full-service erosion control provider working throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Eastern Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. We specialize in silt fence, hydroseeding, SWPPP inspections, and construction debris removal. · Ability to listen well and follow directions· Strong leadership and communication skills working as part of a team· A commitment to customer service and ability to represent oneself in a professional manner· Reliable and punctual attendance · Physically fit and able to work long days outside in the elements· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs· Basic ability to read and write legibly· High character, honesty and integrity essential· Must be able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision at times· Ability to consistently utilize good judgement and make sound decisions· Ability to take initiative and proactively seek continued performance improvement· A valid SC driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for past driving record (preferred)· Experience working with tools and equipment specific to erosion control installations (preferred)· Experience pulling a trailer (preferred) · Must have a reliable cell phone (LMES will provide a stipend for use of phone by the crew leader)

Job Duties

· Go over the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning· Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials each morning · Represent LMES in a professional manner to customers and homeowners at all times· Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence and LMES quality· Follow all safety protocols pertaining to vehicles, equipment, or site conduct as instructed· Install all erosion control products to the specifications of your crew leader’s direction· Communicate effectively with crew leader and fellow crew members · Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew’s silt fence installation output· Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are taken care of and inspected properly · Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns utilizing the proper chain of command To Apply: Submit Resume and Contact Information to work@lmes.us
