Our premiere criminal defense, immigration, and family law firm is looking to immediately add a Criminal Defense Paralegal to our team of legal professionals. We are a top-rated and rapidly expanding law firm and are interested in a candidate who is dedicated, reliable, and looking to grow within the practice. Our main office is located near City Hall in downtown Manhattan, NYC, and we have a satellite office in Brooklyn, NY. Our law firm operates as a team, with each member bringing their individual strengths and experiences to provide our clients with top-quality representation, no matter what they face. Customer service is of the utmost importance and we believe that the personal attention we give to each of our client's cases helps to ensure solutions tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities: *

Providing high-quality support to our legal staff through case preparation, file organization and maintaining an accurate database of past and current motions, as well as assisting other team members as necessary

• Preparing legal documents including affidavits, briefs, and motions

• Communicating with clients, summarizing cases, conducting research, investigating facts, and providing clients with case status updates

• Showcasing excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

• Working independently, prioritizing, and multitasking as necessary

• Deescalating stressful situations and providing an excellent client experience

• Familiarizing yourself with various apps and software to better serve our clients

1+ years of experience as a Criminal Defense Paralegal

• Up-to-date resume complete with relevant experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the USA
