The Emergency Department Technician will work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, assists the professional staff by performing a variety of paraprofessional and technical functions which contribute to the safety, care and comfort of neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients and their families. Provides direct and indirect patient care, including technical skills and procedures, performs routine secretarial and clerical duties and participates in maintaining the environment.

Requirements:

• High School/GED required
• Patient Care Technician/Nursing Assistant Certification required
• Experience with12 Lead ECG and Phlebotomy
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification required
