Position Summary:

This person will be responsible for receiving processes associated with Facilities Support inventory and will provide support for all other warehouse operations including but not limited to stocking of product within the warehouse, picking and staging materials and equipment required for all Facilities Projects. This team member will also load and unload trailers, organize racks, and assist in general maintenance and cleaning. This team member will fill a vital support position in the Facilities Support team.

Responsibilities:

1. Load and unload all deliveries.

a. Receive and verify condition of large equipment. Store in appropriate warehouse location. Transfer all paperwork to receiver.

b. Receive and verify box count and condition of small items. Transfer small items and all paperwork to receiver.

2. Perform daily product movement within facility (UPS/Grocery/Mail runs).

3. Understand product descriptions, slot locations and aisle specifications for product sorting and stocking picking and staging product as needed.

4. Load, stack and organize products in a safe manner to prevent damage and injury.

5. Support core exchange/parts exchange programs.

6. Safety Maintenance - cleaning and organization of warehouse.

7. Assist in refurbishment shop repairing small equipment.

8. Assist with local deliveries outside of warehouse.

9. Support warehouse supervisor and other duties as directed by management.

Working Relationships:

This team member will need to communicate with the warehouse team regarding receiving issues as well as invoice/receiving discrepancies. This team member will communicate with the DC front office, including the delivery appointment clerk and Loss Prevention, and other DC team members within Grocery and FSS, and with freight carriers. The abilities to multitask and plan, and to be detail oriented, will be crucial to all communications and tasks.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Experience: 0-2 yrs. receiving and general warehouse, forklift operation, and general computer skills.

Preferred Experience: 0-2 yrs. receiving and general warehouse, forklift operation, and general computer skills.

Licenses/Certifications: None. Forklift and OSHA Certification preferred. Electric Pallet Jack Operation a plus.

Soft Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Multi-Tasking, Ability to Organize

Other:

Driving/Fleet Vehicle Requirement: Approval to drive company vehicle required

Travel: None

Physical: Some Lifting (up to 80 lbs.), consistent physical activity including bending, walking, kneeling, climbing

Hours & Conditions: 40 hours, 8:00am -4:30 pm M-F, infrequent OT and weekend work required. General Warehouse Conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.11 - $20.14 per hour
