Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Clerk
Location: Point Loma, San Diego
Job Type: Full-time
Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am (Night Audit)
Pay: Competitive pay with shift differential for Night Audit position
We are seeking a reliable and friendly front desk clerk to join our team at Sunrise Inn. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in a limited service economy motel.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and check them into their rooms
- Process guest payments and make necessary adjustments
- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms are clean and in working order
- Assist with special requests and accommodations as needed
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
- Perform night audit duties including balancing the day's transactions and preparing reports
Requirements:
- One year of hotel front desk experience in a limited service economy motel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
