Job Title: Operation/CS

Contract Period : 12 Months

Work Address : Santa Fe Springs CA 90670

Working Hour: 9AM - 6PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare import shipments for assigned customers. This may include customs clearance, shipping, delivery and distribution of cargo.
• Ensure all assigned customers/overseas branches are responded to quickly for all Ocean & Air pricing /RFP/RFQ & Bids. Answer customers/overseas branches questions about products, prices, services.
• Interface with overseas branch, global logistics partners to coordinate international shipments
• Communicate with vendors, truckers, and customers to provide freight solutions & high-end customer service experience
• Monitor shipment status, including tracking and tracing, and report any delays to customer throughout the transit process.
• Provide customer service, including responding to customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints.
• Keep records of all transactions of shipments, and maintain customer accounts.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide high quality customer service.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Freight Forwarding operation or international shipping related relevant experience required
• Strong experience managing activity for all phases of US export/import, air, road, and ocean shipping
• Strong understanding of international transportation / freight forwarding industry
• Bilingual in Korean a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High school GED required
• Ability to prioritize, ability to shift one’s focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties
• Proficient with Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Word, especially Excel with v-lookups and pivot tables
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communications skills to communicate with various levels of the organization.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
